History

Established on September 5, 2016, at Fawoade-School junction in Kumasi, Ghana, OK Academy began with a humble start, welcoming fifteen students and employing ten dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff members. The visionaries behind the institution, CEO Apostle Anthony Kofi Owusu and Pastor Lady Mrs Mercy Owusu, aimed to provide top-quality yet affordable education to the Mamponteng community.

Under the stewardship of Mrs. Veronica Addae as the initial Headmistress, the school quickly gained traction, enrolling 72 students within the first month. By 2019, this number surged to 217 students, supported by 22 teaching and 16 non-teaching staff.

Fast forward to 2023, OK Academy has seen remarkable growth, now accommodating a thriving community of 912 students. Led by Mr. Maxwell Duah as the Headmaster, the institution expanded its team to 82 teaching and non-teaching staff members, further solidifying its commitment to accessible and quality education.
